Cross Pointe Sugarloaf helps unemployed or underemployed people find meaningful work, utilizing their God-given talents and interests.

Instruction/Networking Meeting
We meet in the Groups Building, Room G110, on the first Thursday of each month, providing a teaching session from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., and a networking opportunity from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. The teaching sessions will cover topics such as:

  • Are you really ready to start the job search?
  • How to organize yourself for a job search
  • What is a good target career for you?
  • Branding: How to introduce yourself
  • How to build your target list
  • How to build contact lists
  • How to network
  • How to create your marketing plan
  • How to write an effective resume
  • How to use LinkedIn
  • How to interview

We invite Cross Pointe members or regular attendees with a passion for helping the unemployed or misemployed to serve in this ministry. We are seeking:

  • Individuals with specialized skills (recruiters, human resource professionals, career consultant/coaches/counselors)
  • Anyone who has personally walked through a career crossroad
  • Individuals who are spiritually gifted in hospitality and encouragement
