Update: Hurricane Irma
As we launch our relief effort in Texas, we continue to monitor Hurricane Irma. As relief needs become clearer following this weekend, we will work with our Southern Baptist disaster recovery agencies on additional partnerships related to this latest storm system. Continue praying for the many people in Florida and Georgia who are affected by this hurricane.

In August 2017, Hurricane Harvey made landfall on the Texas Gulf coast, causing major damange through winds and torrential rain and flooding. Cross Pointe is partnering with Baptist relief organizations to lend a hand and share our faith through hurricane and flood recovery. Here's how you can be involved.

Give to Disaster Relief
Donate to the relief effort online here, or on Sundays through our offering. Designate your check or cash gift to “Disaster Relief”. All proceeds collected will go to the North American Mission Board and Georgia Disaster Relief for direct distribution to recovery efforts in Texas. We are joining with 45,000 other Southern Baptist churches in this massive relief effort.

Going to Serve
Because of toxic substances and the risk of injury, volunteers going to the Texas coast to help in recovery efforts must receive training. Visit missiongeorgia.org to sign up for upcoming training dates in our area. Volunteers will still be needed for several months.
