Doing Life Together
From the time our Lord Jesus Christ left this earth to prepare a place for each of us, the church has been a community that has helped to shape solid marriages, sturdy families and strong relationships. Groups are focused on Bible study, fellowship and equipping people to live as effective Christ-followers today. Groups are formed according to similar life stage, age, gender, or goals, and meet weekly or biweekly. At Cross Pointe, we offer weekly Group opportunities at the church on Sundays, and Home Groups to suit your schedule, stage of life and geography.
Home Groups meet in homes off-campus. They're a convenient option for gathering with people near your home. Many Groups meet Sunday evenings, or at other days and times during the week.
Campus Groups are offered at a church campus. Some Groups meet Sunday mornings after our in-person worship service at 10:45 a.m. Other Groups are offered periodically at the church as topical or Bible studies, ladies classes or special courses (Financial Peace University or a Missions Training).
The Acts 2 Church
In Acts 2:42-47, we see that the first century church was centered on four things...
- Teaching God’s Word
- Community fellowship
- Devoted prayer
- Ministry to one another and the community
Though things have changed since then, we believe these foundational truths are as core to the function of the church today as they were 2,000 years ago. We still center our lives on the Word, we still desire to be in community with one another and we still gather together to experience God and to serve the community and the world in His name. Whether you prefer to meet on Sunday or through the week, in the morning or evening, on campus or in someone’s home, we have something for you. Married or single, working or retired, have kids or not--there is a Home Group or Campus Group opportunity awaiting you.
