What happens when I give money at Cross Pointe?
Cross Pointe Church is audited annually by an independent agency. That means we adhere to high standards of biblical accountability, board governance, financial transparency, integrity in fundraising, and proper use of charitable resources. We make our financial statements available by request, and you are always welcome to contact our Financial Office with general questions about our financial practices.
Why should I tithe?
Tithing is a biblical principle. God calls us to give the first 10% of our income back to Him. We’ve seen God provide abundantly in our church, and we know He will provide abundantly for you and your family when you put Him first in your finances. In fact, it’s the one area in the Bible where God tells you to test Him.
"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it." Malachi 3:10 NIV
Why should I give to Cross Pointe?
When you give to Cross Pointe Church, God does something amazing. He multiplies your gifts and does more with it than any of us could ask or imagine. Your tithe becomes part of God’s plan to resource the local church to do His work here on earth. And He also allows you to be a part of all He is doing in your community and around the world through local and global missions partners. What is the best way to give?
The easiest and best way to give is electronically. You can make a gift, schedule your giving, and review your giving history all in one place. You can also give by check either in the mail or by dropping your gift in a Giving Center, located as you exit our Worship Center. You can also give your gift via text.
Can I give to a specific area?
Yes, you can designate your gift for a specific area, like our budget, capital campaign, benevolence or missions.
