What is LIFT Gwinnett?

LIFT Gwinnett is a high-energy weekend designed for middle and high schoolers, featuring three Gospel- centered messages, vibrant worship, and small group time to connect and reflect. This experience will encourage your students to grow in faith and embrace who God uniquely made them to be!

LIFT Gwinnett 2025 Theme - By Faith

The theme for LIFT Gwinnett 2025, “BY FAITH,” calls us to look deeply into what it means to live a life rooted in unwavering trust in Jesus. Every follower of Jesus throughout history, from biblical times to today, has shared one defining trait—faith. Hebrews chapter 11, known as the “Hall of Faith,” gives us vivid examples of men and women who boldly trusted God even when the path was uncertain. Their stories of courage, obedience, and reliance on God serve as powerful reminders that true faith isn’t just a belief; it’s a lifestyle that perseveres through adversity, finds hope in God’s promises, and inspires others.

Rooted in our key verse, Hebrews 10:39—"But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls”—this year’s LIFT Gwinnett will focus on the strength that faith brings in the face of challenges. It reminds us that faith is active and enduring, and it calls us to be bold, holding firmly to Christ regardless of circumstances.

This year, we invite students to journey together through the examples of faith demonstrated by those who have gone before us. By exploring their stories, we aim to deepen our own trust in Jesus, renew our commitment to Him, and encourage each other to step forward with boldness. LIFT Gwinnett 2025 will challenge students not only to learn about faith but to live it out daily—impacting their friends, families, and communities.

FAQ

Where will students be staying?

Host Homes, Group Leaders, and anyone serving with CP Students must complete and pass a background check and screening process. This is church policy. Students will be staying in Host Homes under the leadership of a Cross Pointe family.

Will my student be able to call me?

Yes, students can contact their parents/guardians. However, cell phones are discouraged. We want students to unplug so they can be present over the weekend. Cell phones may be allowed during free times and at night if needed, but not during sessions or small group meeting times.

How will students be transported?

We ask that the Host Homes and Group Leaders work together on transportation to and from Cross Pointe. No student is permitted to drive without a CP Students staff member’s permission.

Will my student be supervised?

They will be supervised by at least two Group Leaders and the Host Home adults. If a disciplinary issue arises that needs further attention, a CP Students staff member will be contacted.

Will students need extra money?

Extra money is not necessary. This year all activities, food, and merch will be included in your registration.

What if my student doesn't know any of the other students going to LIFT Gwinnett?

If your student doesn’t know anyone attending, don’t worry! This event is specifically designed to help students build new friendships that can last well beyond the weekend. Through engaging activities and small group discussions, they'll have plenty of opportunities to connect with other students in our community and feel right at home.

Who can I contact with additional questions?
