We aim to continue cultivating a spirit of generosity in our church.

We are offering several ways to make a difference, ensuring that the joy of giving reaches those who need it most. You can give generously through initiatives like Operation Christmas Child, Giving Tuesday, CarePointe Shoe Drive, and Compassion International. Beyond financial contributions, we invite you to give your time by praying and serving those in need.

Operation Christmas Child

October 27 - November 17

Operation Christmas Child is a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse that demonstrates God's love in a tangible way by delivering gift-filled shoeboxes to children in need around the world. Pick up a shoebox from the lobby and bring it back filled with living essentials.

CarePointe Shoe Drive

November 17 - December 8

This Christmas, we are focusing on a special mission: to collect 1,000 pairs of children's shoes for those in need. Pick up a tag from a tree in the lobby and deliver a brand new pair of shoes to the green Christmas sleigh in the lobby.

Compassion International: February 2025

Compassion International is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to ending child poverty through one-on-one sponsorship. By sponsoring a child, you provide access to education, healthcare, and spiritual guidance, giving them hope for a brighter future. Rooted in the belief that Jesus deeply cares for children, Compassion strives to reflect His love by meeting their physical and emotional needs. As followers of Christ, we are called to show compassion to the most vulnerable, offering them the opportunity to break free from the cycle of poverty and experience God's care and provision.

Pray

The holiday season is a wonderful opportunity to engage in prayer and reflect on how we can share joy and hope with others. Here are some meaningful ways to pray during this time:

1. Pray for Gospel Conversations

  • Intentionality in Interactions: Ask God to open doors for conversations about faith. Pray for boldness to share your story and the message of Jesus with those you encounter.
  • Specific Individuals: Make a list of friends, family, or acquaintances who may need to hear the Gospel. Pray for their hearts to be receptive.
  • Opportunities in Gatherings: Pray for wisdom in navigating holiday gatherings, asking God to help you find natural moments to share about Jesus.

2. Pray for a Heart of Generosity

  • Selflessness and Compassion: Ask God to help you see others’ needs and to give you a heart that seeks to serve and uplift.
  • Acts of Kindness: Pray for creative ideas on how to bless others—whether through gifts, acts of service, or simply being present.
  • Gratitude: Spend time thanking God for His generosity and grace in your life, fostering a spirit of thankfulness that spills over into generosity.

3. Pray for Those in Need

  • Local and Global Needs: Lift up those struggling in your community and around the world. Pray for relief, provision, and hope.
  • Involvement Opportunities: Ask God to guide you towards specific organizations or initiatives where you can help, whether through volunteering, donations, or spreading awareness.
  • Spiritual and Emotional Support: Pray for healing and comfort for those facing hardship during the holidays, and that they may encounter Christ through your actions and prayers.

4. Pray for Joy to Spread

  • Joyful Attitudes: Ask God to fill your heart with His joy so that it overflows to others, reflecting the true spirit of the season.
  • Unity and Peace: Pray for reconciliation and peace in relationships that may be strained during this time, asking for God’s love to bridge divides.
  • Celebration of Hope: Pray that the joy of the season points to the hope found in Christ, encouraging others to seek Him.

5. Daily Prayer Practices

  • Advent Prayer: Consider following an Advent calendar or devotional that includes daily prayers and reflections centered on the coming of Christ.
  • Prayer Walks: Take time to walk through your neighborhood, praying for each household you pass, asking God to bring His light and love into their lives.
  • Family Prayer Time: Gather your family to pray together, discussing specific prayer requests and focusing on how you can collectively spread joy and generosity.
