A Focused Night With Believers Worldwide

Secret Church is a unique, one-night event that is streamed each Spring to tens of thousands of participants around the world. Encouraged by our persecuted brothers’ and sisters’ example, we meet for six hours for intense study of God’s Word and passionate prayer for the persecuted.

Gather with believers around the world for a focused night of deep Bible study, urgent prayer, and sacrificial giving—shaped by the faith of persecuted Christians. Be challenged by God’s Word, stirred by global need, and reminded that following Jesus is worth everything. Come ready to listen, pray, and participate in making Jesus known everywhere—together.

Who Can Participate?

Any adult or High School student may register to participate in Secret Church.

We ask that Middle School students be accompanied by an adult or guardian.

What to Bring

  • Plenty of pens and highlighters
  • Your Guided Scripture Journal (we’ll order it after you register)
  • Water + something to help you stay alert

What to Expect

A dramatic, immersive dive into the life of Elijah—calling the church to courageous, resilient faith in hard places.

CHAPTER ONE
He stood alone before kings.
CHAPTER TWO
He called down fire from heaven.
CHAPTER THREE
He battled despair in silence.
CHAPTER FOUR
He was taken up in chariots of flame.

As with past Secret Church events, this night is not only about studying Scripture—it’s about equipping and mobilizing the global church to live boldly for Christ in the hardest-to-reach places. This year, Elijah’s story will be woven together with real stories of gospel advance in Nepal—bringing ancient Scripture and modern mission into powerful alignment.

About Secret Church

Years ago, David Platt taught and ministered to believers in underground house churches in Asia—brothers and sisters who gathered in secret, fully aware that discovery could cost them their freedom, their families, or their lives.

Their faith was not shaped by comfort or convenience, but by a deep devotion to God and His Word.

Secret Church was born from these encounters. Each spring, believers around the world set aside one evening to open the Scriptures, pray for the persecuted church, and give sacrificially—longing to see Jesus made known where he is least known.
