Even after we are forgiven, the battle with sin is still real. In 1 John 2:1–2, we are reminded that we don’t fight this battle alone. We have God’s Word to guide us, Jesus as our Advocate when we fail, and His sacrifice as the full and final payment for our sin. Because of Christ, we can face sin with confidence, knowing He has already won the victory for us.
